Operational Purchaser (m/f/d)

YOUR ROLE

As Operational Purchaser, you will be responsible for hands on procurement work within NEXWAFE. For example, you will be end to end responsible from placing orders to the delivery of goods and services.

You will work closely with our Strategic and Project Purchasers, too. The close contact with our management will allow you to move quickly and help continue the NEXWAFE growth!

ABOUT YOU

  • Completed studies in engineering or natural sciences, e.g. physics, chemistry, materials science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering
  • You are a communicative personality
  • Negotiable (spoken and written) in German and English language
  • You have already gained initial experience in the field of purchasing and materials management
  • A commercial education with technical understanding or comparable qualification are a plus
  • You have the ability to build relationship with suppliers and can align / advance delivery times
  • Independent, structured, solution-oriented working style

YOUR TASKS

  • Continuous ordering of production materials as well as deadline monitoring of orders, call-offs from quantity contracts, order confirmations and adherence to delivery dates
  • Maintaining, assessing and supporting the assigned suppliers and implementing necessary (corrective) measures within the framework of operational purchasing
  • Checking invoices and resolving differences with suppliers
  • Handling and monitoring other departments requests and missing parts
  • Ensuring the delivered quality and forwarding changes to the suppliers in accordance with the requirements of the engineering and maintenance departments
  • Processing and monitoring quality notifications and return deliveries
  • Maintaining accounts payable and material master data
