Maintenance technician specialized in mechatronics/ electronics (m/f/d)

Your Role

The maintenance technician is responsible for equipment availability and operates the infrastructure facilities of the plants. He is part of the team that develops and optimizes the equipment. There is fast communication in a team with flat hierarchies of a start-up company.

About You

  • Completed training in the field of electrical engineering, electronics or mechatronics

  • Work experience with automated process equipment in a production plant

  • Very good analytical skills

  • Willingness to work in a dynamic and dedicated team of a “start-up” company

  • Good teamwork and communication skills

  • Good basic understanding of natural sciences

  • Willingness to deal with new topics or problems

Your Tasks

  • Carrying out preventive maintenance and repairs in case of malfunctions.

  • The following equipment types are involved: chemical etching equipment, chemical vapor deposition equipment, silicon wafer sawing and handling equipment.

  • Analysis of malfunctions and deviations of the production equipment with a view to a continuous improvement process

  • Operation of the supply facilities for chemicals and the exhaust air purification systems, as well as the management of consumables and spare parts

  • Supporting the process engineers in the development and qualification of the equipment and processes. The maintenance engineer is part of the team that accepts new equipment from manufacturers, performs hook up and start up, and qualifies equipment and processes

  • Participate in plant specific tasks related to occupational safety, health and environmental protection
