Engineer for supply engineering and gas mixing systems (m/f/d)

Your Role

As an engineer for supply engineering and gas mixing systems, you will occupy a key position between the technology teams that develop the processes and equipment and the systems engineering and media supply area of the infrastructural facilities. On the one hand, you support the technology teams by coordinating, planning and monitoring all issues related to the supply systems. On the other hand, you optimize the supply systems, which in turn influence the processes and facilities. In addition, your work significantly influences safety, health and environmental protection. Here you will support the head of HSE in communicating with authorities and service providers. You will be trained by experienced colleagues and will also gain extensive insights into all areas of the process chain.

About You

  • Degree or comparable qualification in process engineering, chemistry, technical building planning or comparable fields, preferably with professional experience in the gas supply sector

  • Ideally experience in planning, operating and monitoring infrastructure and media supply facilities

  • Experience in the management of suppliers and service providers

  • A systematic, efficient and conscientious approach to work

  • Practical experience in handling chemicals

  • Willingness to work in a dynamic and dedicated team of a “start-up” company

  • Good team and communication skills, good English language skills

Your Tasks

  • Planning of expansion and improvement projects with the support of external service providers, in the area of media supply, with a focus on gas mixing systems, as well as exhaust air and progress gas scrubbers

  • Creation and maintenance of SOP’s in your area

  • Collaboration in the creation and maintenance of the safety analysis (HAZOP) and hazard analysis in a cross-functional group

  • Work closely with our technology teams to continuously improve the availability and quality of infrastructure and supply media

  • Ensure occupational safety, health and environmental protection in relation to the infrastructure
